GS-3 Product Reviews
Excellent construction will last a long time
★★★★★
“While expensive, you get what you pay for. (I think that as I watch my neighbors inferior hoops slowly deteriorate in the weather.) Over the past 3 years no issues at all. We have been slowly raising the hoop as the kids grow and learn the fundamentals. They now enjoy lowering the hoop for a few 'trick' shots and moves with their friends. Overall very satisfied with the quality of the product. While it took some time to install, it was not difficult and is VERY solid.”

Sturdy and able to withstand dunks.

“Does not rust - looks great after 3 years - very heavy duty - worth the price!”

Legit hoop!

“This is my second goalrilla hoop and it does not disappoint. This is a quality hoop and Goalrilla stands behind their products. I use this in a half court slab in the back yard and I couldn't ask for more. The mechanism that raises and lowers the hoop failed after like 15 years on my first hoop and Goalrilla replaced my entire set up with the GSIII under warranty. No charge for shipping or anything. I've a very happy camper!”

The best investment for my driveway!

“I have 3 kids- ages 15, 13, and 10- and all very into their different athletics, including basketball. I also played basketball in high school, so naturally it is something that we all enjoy doing together. We recently purchased what I hope is the last home that I'll ever move into, and it needed a quality basketball hoop (the last one was a cheap portable unit and was demolished in a hurricane). I plan on whooping my kids on this hoop until they leave this house, and hope to someday teach the grandkids how to shoot properly on the same unit- so I shopped around for a hoop with the best warranty, construction, and reviews. I found it with Goalrilla. The answered all of my questions and concerns in one phone call. We're a middle class family and I always considered these units to be over-the-top, but now that it's up and we can feel the difference, I know it was exactly the right choice. The installation wasn't too bad- the concrete work took longer than the kids expected, as we couldn't dig as deep as the instructions wanted (hit water only 2.5' down), so we had to expand to the sides- we ended up putting 25 of the 80 lb bags of concrete into the ground (best idea was to rent an electric mixer), along with a maze of re-bar (no hurricane is going to take this one down). We patiently and accurately painted the official markings on the court as the concrete dried (few days), and then the assembly was a breeze (stand on a truck's tailgate was the key). The hoop comes with a lifetime warranty, so I registered it under my 10 year old's name (Goalrilla probably won't like that note). This thing is awesome, and draws all of our friends over to play on it (mine too)- we love it, and the kids feel an attachment to it after all the hard work we put into installing it. It may have been more money than another portable unit from a big box store, but it's feel and stance can't be touched. It was a great investment. And someday my ten year old can unbolt it and take it to his house, when they put me in a nursing home.”
